Book of Celebration

We’re aware that some people couldn’t make it to the memorial service in Liverpool. We set up this online book of celebration to give anyone a chance to share their memories of Colin and his music, along with any messages for the family.

We have now closed the Book of Celebration to new entries but all previous entries remain below to view.

589 entries.

I loved the 'Wonderful Life' album in my teens but was equally impressed with 'Blind Faith'. His music was truly a gift to us and long may it live on. Thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.

Still saddened and shocked by Colin's passing. I remember first seeing the Wonderful Life video and knowing I had to find out more. I passed my love of Black to my daughter, and we now share our sorrow and sadness and will never forget him. So sorry I never got to see him live, maybe on the other side I'll be lucky. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends. Rest In Peace Colin xx
