Black aka Colin Vearncombe - Book of Celebration

We’re aware that some people couldn’t make it to the memorial service in Liverpool. We set up this online book of celebration to give anyone a chance to share their memories of Colin and his music, along with any messages for the family.

Goodbye wonderful Colin. Thank you for the music that helped me through some bad times, I am struggling with the fact that you are not here anymore and will never have the chance to meet you, which was one of my dreams. Best wishes to Colin's family and close friends. I've listened to Black week-in and week-out ever since 'Wonderful Life' was released, which is a testament to the man's great talent as a writer and artist. I'll miss him greatly.

Colin's music had such a profound influence on me and I will miss him dearly. My thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this difficult time. I will be there in spirit at the memorial tonight. I just hope it will be a celebration of a wonderful man, singer and songwriter.
